Now don't get me wrong, I am not a cheapskate at heart. I have been known on occasion to shop in designer stores and boutiques and ignore the prices because something caught my eye. BUT....if I were to purchase something in TOUCH OF GLASS without hubby's OK, I'm afraid I would not only max out my credit card (and it has a high limit) but also sign my ticket to divorce court! For although the furnishings, art and such in TOUCH OF GLASS are beautiful, they high priced as well!
I honestly am in the market for a new couch since the kids are past the kool-aid and cheese puffs stage, so when I saw this store had leather sofas and interesting furniture, I decided to begin my hunt for "the perfect sofa" here.
Immediately upon walking into the store I was treated to the wonderful aroma of leather....it was great! You could smell the richness in the air and if you had a doubt as to the quality of leather, you only need check out the price tags! I won't quote prices here because each piece of furniture is unique and needs to be seen to be appreciated, but I will say this is no "impulse buy" store. It is in fact the sort of place one goes for top quality furnishings regardless of the price. So if you are looking to purchase a top notch piece of furniture that will age with grace and dignity, this is the place for you. Not only do they have articles for immediate sale but you can also special order many items to your specifications. The accessories which include interesting artwork, sculpture, table and floor lamps and bric-a-brac would accent your purchase quite nicely. As my son said, ..."you can't just buy a sofa Mom, you need to buy everything to go with it so it will look perfect!" ( I agreed but kept the charge card safely tucked away! ;-)....)
Check out this store if only to see for yourself the wonderful array of furnishings they have available. Located in the same mini mall as LAUGHING LILAC, directly across the street from THE OLIVE GARDEN it is easy to find and easy to fall in love with. Check it out yourself, and let me know what you think about the butternut colored couch.....I think it's PERFECT!
