I met Howard at a business fuction. I was a new business owner and decided to give him a try. I used him/them for 4 years and boy was I sorry! He "offered" assistance but was never available. He insisted on filing a tax extension every year and I owed taxes every year. For the 4th year filing he informed me I owed $36,000.00!!! Plus penalties and interest since I wasn't told till after the deadline. I had to tap every financial resource to pay the IRS and FTB. When I talked with him about it he blamed me! Needless to say I dumped his sorry a**. I requested he surrender all my records and he sent me a minimal amount of half-usable information (mind you he kept all payroll records!) I found myself a new accountant (referred to me by a successful business owner) who amended all former returns and got ALL my money back. I have since talked with other's who've used Howard and they tell a similar story. Now, I'm telling you -- Beware!
