As a male and a first time visitor, I had a mixed bag of emotions as I walked into Woodhouse Spa back in early March. Whether it was nervousness or masculinity, I was quickly put at ease with the friendly staff who greeted me at the front door complimented with relaxing music in the air. The staff walked me to the men?s changing room and provided guidance on what to do as I waited for my female counterpart to arrive (who was treating the two of us for both our birthdays). After slipping into my robe and sandals I was seated in a private room with dark wood floors and plush chairs and offered a beverage and snacks while I relax. After my girlfriend arrived we were guided to our couples massage room where we sat side by side and underwent a full body massage. The two women who provided the service were very professional and friendly from the moment we introduced ourselves until we walked out the door. The overall experience was something I highly recommend and plan to do once again in the future.
