Review content:
I visited this eatery late March 2008. I was succumbed by the hype about this interesting restaurant. I was disappointed to find out the dining system and structure resembled so many typical lower class American restaurant chains like Applebee's and alike. The food was quite exotic by menu and decided to order an appetizer, main course and dessert. I was overwhelmed by the quantity of the food, especially with their coconut breaded onionrings that could feed up an entire family. Unfortunately, the taste was not very special and it tasted more bread crumbs and soggy onion. The maincourse was decent but lacked the spices it promised in the menu, a sirloin kebab with various spices did not live up to is reputation. The banana bread in butterscotch, with ice cream and fresh bananas, was the only reason it was an average dining experience. eventhough the bananabread slices were pretty dry and boring, the other dessert compliments surrounding the cake were uplifting. An overall ok restaurant but overrated by other reviewers and it lacked any really authentic caribbean experience and cuisine. Pros: amuzing interior Cons: overall food experience
