Review content:
Hibbett Sports just opened next to Beall’s. They sell athletic shoes, socks, sports gear and clothing. If you are looking for clothes or related items for UT or A & M, this is your place. They have a wide selection at reasonable prices. Ball caps from many colleges and major league teams fill the wall behind the check out counter.
For women, the selection is great. I was quite impressed that they were not geared strictly to men as are most sports stores. They have great UT and A &M apparel in women’s sizes. Running shorts and the infamous Soffee shorts in a wide variety of colors.
For men, the selection was a bit different. They have the same UT and A & M apparel and running shorts. There is a line of clothes that remind me of P. Diddy, not flashy, just not our style.
The athletic shoes selection is wide, but limited on the number of styles. They tend to repeat the similar style of shoe in different colors rather than give us a new style or brand. They sell Nike, New Balance and Reebok. Before you head out of town, check here first. We found a great pair of running shoes for my daughter at a reasonable price and we did not have to burn the gas going out of town.
The service in the shoe department was sketchy. Once we got help, the service was good. Don’t hesitate to speak up and ask for assistance, otherwise you may be standing there awhile.
