Businiess name:  ASI Gymnastics

Review content:
Don't switch to ASI if you are a serious/natural talented gymnast. My child was from a different gym, very tough, disciplined, competitive. ASI is a different environment, more of a social club than a gym. It is great for cheer girls, or to let your kid get thier energy out, but awful for serious gymnasts. My child ended up retiring the sport, after falling into mediocrity with the rest of the ASI team members. Workouts consisted of drills that were not supervised or coached, a few crunches and pushups, and a couple of laps. Not even Carly Patterson's kind words were enough to fix the damage/defeatist attitude/loss of skills and physical shape that ASI caused. Don't make the same mistake that we did. This is NOT a place for a gymnast with any kind of drive or raw talent. I would suggest WOGA, University of Gymnastics in Plano, or Gymnastics Place. Pros: Pretty, big, fun for little kids, great for parties, great for social events Cons: Poor instructors, non-competitive, lack of discipline, poor scores, low success rates.
