I will speak to you as honestly as I can. I lived here and I will tell you that everything you have read up to this point is as close to the truth as you can get from a one sided conversation. The staff is inept at best. The units are in such disrepair that they are at the point of no return. Wall repairs are visible everywhere. They use a paint that comes off when you rub up against it. All the ceilings have stucko to hide all the damage. The carpets are filthy and they paint the counters with a coating that scratches off within the first few months of your stay. The cabinets in the kitchens are peeling when you move in because whomever painted them didn't bother to take the grease off them first. The floor in the kitchens are all worn out and the tiled floors have many chips and cracks. I have heard that the fireplace units do not work but mine did not have one so I can't speak first handed. The grounds are kept nice around the courtyard but you will find that the areas around your units are filthy at best. You have drug dealers living around you. The duty officer is useless and is nothing more than a figure head who when called probably won't show or even return your call. It is true that the kids in this community have no respect for the rules and regulations of the lease......forget about simple human decency. Damage to personal property is certain. There have been attacks at this location against women by men. I was there when the police came and took a report from my neighbor across the hall. She was fondled and had she not fought with her aggressor she certainly would have been raped. She moved within weeks and the powers that be would not refund her deposit and from my understanding was being charged for the remainder of her lease which was 3 months. If you can get past all of this let me add the appliances are cheap and break all the time. Toilets need repair often. Air conditioning doesn't work correctly. Not enough tonnage for the space they need to cover. One last thing if you don't mind listening to your neighbor going to the bathroom or to their everyday conversations then by all means come and enjoy. Sorry no good news but if you go elsewhere you will be happier I guarantee it.
