Don't get me wrong - the quality of the work Lush and Danita produces is good. However - I've was completely burned by her 'cancellation' policy which is so strictly enforced. Overall, I refuse to do business with someone who isn't willing to compromise with a loyal customer. After being a loyal customer for over 2.5 years, I was laid off from my job and my Outlook calender I kept my appoints in went with it! I UNINTENTIONALLY missed an appointment and received a call from Danita 30 minutes after my appoint was to have started. I apologized profusely, and tried reasoning with her. I noted that I could come in the next day to make up the appointment, but simply couldn't afford a sunk $200. I could understand the policy if they employed "reminder calls"(which they did at one point but gave up on without a notice to clients...), but there was no reasoning with her - the $200 was charged and I've never been back. She claimed she needed to pay her stylist her appropriate commissions for lost time...too bad they double book while someone processes. Additionally, in the 2.5 years as a customer, I saw 4-5 different stylists - very transient work force. NEVER again.
