Ok, here's my story. We had stayed here before and, contrary to the other reviews here, this place is a crap hole. I live as cheap as I can and this motel is the cheapest Wyndam Rewards could find in the area. We were staying for just one night, so, what the heck, we'll deal with it. It was 99 degrees the day we checked in and as soon as we got in the room I went to A.C unit and found that it wasn't working. Upon closer inspection I discovered the plug had been cleanly cut off. I went immediately to the front desk and changed rooms where the A.C. worked just fine (the only thing that worked just fine). Breakfast sucked as usual and we checked out like it was nothing and we went on our merry way. About a week later I get a $700 charge on my Visa. So I called to see if there was a mistake. They tell me they charged me for a new unit because I was the last one in that room when it broke. I told them that we did NOT stay in that room (142) and that we got moved to 128 because the A.C. plug was missing. Long story short, I get the run around for the next 24 hours, no call backs. I have to call repeatedly to get any kind of answers. Finally the night manager tells me that she asked the lady that worked that night about it, who tells her she didn't move anybody. Lies after lies after lies. I get put on hold and forgotten, hang up, call back.... no answer! I use my friends phone... and she picks up. When I let her know who I am she asks if I am harassing her, I tell her that I am the one being harassed, she cuts me off a few times and then hangs up on me. I'm pretty pissed at this point. Tomorrow I am contacting my bank to dispute the charge on my card and I'm contacting my law firm for some helpful advice. Please do yourself a favor and do not stay here, who knows what else these con artists are capable of. Have you noticed how all the good reviews are 5 stars? Just another scam... Google this hotel and read the 1 star reviews there for a real assessment of this hole.
