We have had a truly wonderful experience with TVLC. My 5-year old child has been at TVLC since she was 5 months old. The staff has been part of our family since day one. Not only was I given a tour of the center, but I was allowed to spend a few hours in the infant room with Miss Judy and my child to see what it was like. Going back to work was hard, but leaving my child with Miss Judy was like leaving her with my mom. We continued to have wonderful experiences as she progressed through the Toddler, Young Pre School, Pre School, Pre-Kindergarten, and now Kindergarten rooms. Miss Kim helped us through the terrible twos and potty training, Miss Heather started my child’s love of learning letters and numbers, Miss Carla continued with letters and numbers and taught her manners and the importance of being a good friend, Miss Danielle and Miss Carrie taught her how much fun writing in a journal could be, how important class room jobs were (like meteorologist and snack helper), and understanding big words by having a “word of the week”. Now, Miss Kelly is working on handwriting, reading, science, social studies, and math with her. In addition, she has had a great time at TVLC’s Camp Discovery since she was 3 years old. She loved swimming lessons, horseback riding, karate, soccer, nature, art, and various field trips. The center is bright, clean, full of age appropriate toys and activities, and has a wonderful library, gym, and beautiful grounds, perfect for energetic eager to learn children. There are so many opportunities for the parents to be involved and the communication is great; I receive lots of emails about upcoming events and candid pictures of my child. I am greeted every time I enter the building and have always appreciated the “open door” policy of the directors and teachers. I am very proud to call TVLC family and highly recommend the center.
