Contrary to common belief, MIT is not a place full of studying and nerdom. IT's actually a place that becomes what you want to make of it. If you want to do anything, you can do it at MIT because it has such a huge array of resources. You can even study the humanities. In fact, I have a friend who is a writing major there with no other majors. With its close vicinity to Boston, it is a great place to be. It is close to concerts, superb restaurants, and of course the Boston Red Sox. The best part of MIT is the student body. Nowhere in the world will you find people that are so nice. Everyone is always willing to help each other. There is a general feeling of working as a team to conquer the institute. I went there for 4 years and enjoyed every bit of it.
