I just started my master’s degree at UofM and decided to go investigate different bars around Ann Arbor. When my boyfriend and I found this Rush Street place we ended up waiting for 20 minutes in line. During this time other people kept coming in through the exit line while bouncers where not there ( idk where they were). When the bouncers came back my boyfriend decided to comment and express his disagreement regarding other people coming in without waiting in line. At this point one of the bouncers, for no reason, punched him. Seriously, out of nowhere just punched him! I want to point out that neither of us was drunk at that moment. That was completely immature and unacceptable, and I don’t believe that there should be any physical force involved when you are trying to express your opinion. I will never come back to that place again and I would not recommend it to anyone.
