Cortona Academy provides private education from its heart. No student is ever turned away, despite giftedness (with its own unique challenges), learning difficulties, or a combination of the two! Students and parents searching for respect, understanding, kindness, and a passionately dedicated and hard-working staff will definitely find it at 13510 Dulles Technology Dr., Herndon, VA 20171 (The address above is incorrect.) Students are taught hi-tech, speed study skills to enhance processing speed, increase information retrieval and shorten study & homework time. The staff and Director work as a cooperative team with parents and students to decide the BEST plan of action to improve transcripts, create motivation, and solve problems. Internships and mentors may become part of each student's Award program, building qualities of character and leadership. Additionally, Cortona's staff is amazingly adept at finding and securing college admissions and major college scholarships for ALL students, again, despite giftedness or learning challenges.
