I dont know where to begin. It started off nice speaking with marie. She made the entire move sound good, telling me its insured giving me a quote and telling me everything is included yada yada. These guys showed up 30 minutes early from when we told them to arrive. Not sure if they started the clock but when you make an appointment for a certain time there is usually a reason for that. After that they started moving everything up to our new penthouse. About 5 different pieces got damaged if not more. Now all of these furniture items in which we THOUGHT was insured are very expensive mid century modern units. Some of which are custom one off pieces. Not only that but one of their workers who looked like he was on parole knocked down my scooter and didnt take the blame. He mentioned to me that he went to the basement and it was already knocked down. I have owned this scooter for years and it has NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER been dropped or knocked down when its on a kick stand. This parolee also made comments about wanting to bring his gf into my penthouse for sexual relations. These comments were unprofessional and uncalled for. After we tried to call marie to mention the pieces that were damaged, she said her guys said they were damaged in the storage unit and not by them. Their insurance would be 60 cents to the pound. So a 2000 dollar couch that was ruined would now only be worth 16 dollars if we claimed insurance, on top of that they would keep the couch. SURE LETS FILE THE CLAIM. i also noticed that they had the supervisor of the move come up with every piece of broken furniture so they can say its not their fault, He stayed in the truck for everything except for when they were bringing up a damaged piece. yea i caught that trend fast. STAY AWAY FROM TRISTAR MOVERS. Ive had better help from home depot day laborers and child labor. Pros: NO PROS Cons: Wreckless, sloppy, unprofessional
