Review content:
I love places like this. Cute little bakeries, tucked into a narrow shop that turns out to be slightly bigger on the inside than one would think, and to serve better food than one would expect. La Vie en Rose certainly serves a wide variety of things- from scones and cookies to pasta salad and sandwiches. It's a great place for a quick lunch or to grab something on the go.
My only caution? If you're getting a slice of pizza (square pieces, served cold- though I'm sure you could have it warmed up), make sure to find out what the ingrediants are. The tend to put the cheese on top of everything else, making it a bit of a mystery to know what's underneath. It can be great, or a disaster. I was served a slice with far too salty, large green olives hidden throughout. The juices from the olives had seeped to the rest of the pizza, making it far to salty to enjoy.
