Review content:
I have visited this salon twice. The first time I had a good blowdry. Because the stylist (Adam Lands)seemed nice, I asked him if he does color and if he thinks he can touch up my roots in a subsequent visit. I have long, blonde, highlighted hair, which is very hard to repair if done wrong. He said he specializes in color, and he reassured me that he was going to do a great job. We had an extensive consultation, in which I explained to him what I wanted and what I did not want. What I wanted were light, natural highlights using my natural color (a medium brown) as a base. What I absolutely did not want were brassy, orangy 'stripes'. Again, this was only for my roots. On the day of the appointment, while applying my highlights, he did not seem very familiar with the process. To make a long story short, it all came out reddish-brassy, super tacky and looking like I had done it myself or at a $5 salon. He ruined my hair. I doubt he had ever done blonde or much, if any, color before. I find it extremely unethical that they would let untrained, unspecialized people pose as experienced and practice on paying clients' heads. A horrible experience. Pros: Location Cons: Unqualified staff
