I agree with other reviewers - Peet's beats Starbucks any day. If you like smoky, flavorful coffee, then Peet's is for you. I usually stick to coffee - either iced or hot - and it's soooo satisfying. Seems like it has more caffeine than other coffee because after two cups, I'm shaking. ;-)
Friendly folks and atmosphere, if you can find a seat. This place has free wireless so people tend to bring their laptops and park it. Great place to hang on a chilly winter day. Fun to watch all the different types of people who come in - and there are many.
One great feature - if you donate to WGBH (either radio or TV), you get a coupon for a free half-pound of Peet's coffee beans. And along with a bean purchase, you get a free cup of coffee!
