Businiess name:  China Cafeteria
Review by:  Sheila C.
Review content:
The China Cafeteria is a family owned Chinese restaurant in downtown Chattanooga, that serves Oriental cuisine cafeteria style. They offer weekly selections including sweet and sour pork, empress chicken, Chinese vegetables, sauteed green beans, and Mongolian beef, served with lo mein and white, or fried rice. Selections vary depending on the day of the week. They also have a more extensive menu for a la carte ordering. The price for 2 entrées with rice or lo mein is $4.99, 1 entrée is $3.99. Soup wontons, and egg roles are also available a la carte. The China Cafeteria also offers take out services as well as iced or hot tea and soda. Each meal comes with a fortune cookie and Chinese donut are also available a la carte. This restaurant is a good place to eat lunch for the budget minded. They offer a pretty good variety of food choices, although the items don't vary much from week to week. While there are better Oriental restaurants in the Chattanooga area, the downtown location and convenient cafeteria style services, make it the perfect lunch spot for downtown workers and budget minded tourists.
