Businiess name:  New Renaissance Bookshop

Review content:
Located in the most hip part of Portland, New Renaissance Books is located in three almost identical Victorian houses, all lined up on eclectic 23rd Street. In this amazing store you'll find any book on spirituality, growth or healing that you might want, as well as a vast assortment of music, incense, candles, tea and tea pots, meditation cushions, clothing, cards, gifts and children's books and toys. They have events with well-known authors, and local talented healers and leaders. Upstairs in the main building is a used book section, which is a joy to browse, if you like used books as I do. There is also a community event bulletin board and a place for local folks to hang their fliers. New Renaissance puts out a spiffy catalog with great reviews on the latest book releases and music in the spirituality scene, as well as recommendations for the season, and their events listings. On the front porches are tables where you can just sit and read your latest purchase, or watch the people stroll by.
