I prefer REI hands down, but I don't mind stopping in here either as they are closer and easier to get to . They have a good selection of sporting goods and outdoor equipment as well. My only complaint is that they never have Green Trails maps in. They have the slots for all of them, but they are never there. I buy a lot of sporting goods here and save my outdoor stuff for REI. The prices are pretty comparable to discount stores plus you get a better selection and a higher quality purchase. I have not bought much for my cars here but they do have an extensive automotive department as well.
