Review content:
We've been to Cliffords quite a few times, but not for about a year. So we decided to go back today as a random decision, no specific reason. Well the place was absolutely packed with no where for people to stand, then you have to watch people eat so you can run to their table when they leave so you can sit, as there isn't a waiting list or even hostess to seat you in a calm and orderly fashion. So here's why it was a horrible experience.....
we sit down and it takes the waitress only a few minutes to come get our drink order, great right? not so much, 15-20 minutes later she comes with food but no tartar sauce, that was another 10 minute wait, then 10 minutes after that we finally got 1/2 of our drinks, sodas mind you. and so we eat and decide we'd like a few more pieces of fish, well she needs an exact count so we told her 5. she then proceeds to pick up the fish plate and dump whatever was on it on my husbands plate, crumbs etc! we couldn't have a new plate with the extra fish? we didnt get drink refills, she didnt ask how our meal was, nothing. and in addition to all of this, a young girl bussing the tables was walking past our table with my kids (12 & 4) saying what the F*^*? ugh!
i understand that they are busy and have alot of people coming to their restaurant, but the least they could do is provide good service, not make me feel as if i have a time limit to eat or that we are bothering them when we ask for something.
i wont even get into the decor or cleanliness of the place.
NEVER AGAIN!
