Review content:
Van Wezel theater is a building you can't miss. It's affectionately known as "The purple Cow" due to its' unusual color of purple paint. Sitting on the banks of Sarasota Bay it has just recently undergone a multi-million dollar renovation and enlargement. It now has the capability to handle almost any Broadway play and frequently does so. The season also brings a number of solo and small group acts and comedians. The playbill for the theater always has a variety of performances in a beautiful facility.
