I usually hate chains but this bakery is just really good.
I love the idea of combining a bakery, restuarant, cafe and study type spot in one place. At Panera, you can either grab something to go or eat in their little cafe. They haev free wireless for your laptop so you can work, study or have meetings there while having coffee or a snack.
Their pastries and desserts are the best with everything like muffins, cookies, cakes, bear claws, sweet bagels, sweet breads, and a whole array of pastries.
And the bagels are always good and they have seasonal ones like pumpkin spice and peanut butter banana.
