Review content:
Jacavone's has been around a long time, and there's a reason for it. They sell enormous quantities of annuals in the spring, summer and fall and their prices are competitive. This is a family owned and run operation, from the Grandparents on down to the grandkids.
The best reason to go there - they carry a limited assortment of 1 qt perennials, and by the second week of June, they've knocked the prices down to $1 a piece. If you know your plants, you're in luck, because by the time they're $1, most of the tags are missing. This is when I stock up - delphiniums, malvas, columbines and astibles are what they seem ot have the most of, but those are fast growers and out out a good display if you're patient.
They also carry holiday plants - Trees, wreaths, stuff like that in the winter. We always get our tree there - it beats having to schlep to a gas station, and they'll tie it down for you if need be.
And they have a good assortment of small sized cacti, and other house plants.
