Businiess name:  Auto Consultants Northwest

Auto Consultants NW is not actually an auto dealer, but more like an auto broker. They offer the service of finding the type of car you request at the price level you request. They work with both new and used car markets. I think one's experience would be very dependent upon the partiular sales person you work with. Unfortunately, the salesperson we worked with no longer works there. You make an appointment and tell the salesperson all of your requirements and your price range. You put down a deposit and sign a contract that states if they find you a car that meets your specifications, you will buy it. We purchased a car in very good condition, with a maintainence record and a newer model than expected for less than the listings I saw on the web for "For Sale By Owner" cars (and less than blue book value). My mechanic is very skeptical of these type of businesses, but both times I have bought a car through them, he can't find anything wrong with them (insist on having the car inspected by your mechanic before buying), and they both ran great.
