Businiess name:  Idylwilde Farm Inc
Review by:  Barbara S.
Review content:
People flock to Idylwilde from the greater Boston metropolitan area with good reason - the owners sell only the freshest produce and the best food products around. If you're a cook or just someone who loves to eat, Idylwilde is a place you should visit. Local farmers are supported (and some produce is grown by Idylwilde owners themselves) so in-season produce is reasonably priced. In addition you can get produce from all over the world. Need tiny champagne grapes? Idylewilde has 'em. Want the latest food goodie/ingredient listed in Bon Appetiti or Gourmet? Again, check out Idylwilde. They also carry a dizzying array of cheeses, often with samples available. Recently they added meats, fish, and prepared foods to the store. Their "steakhouse steak" strips are wonderful for grilling. Small portions of seafood (salmon, tuna, scallops) are great to pick up for a meal for two. One of the best secret bargains around is their greenhouse flower shop. I've told my husband not to buy me flowers at a florist - just stop by Idylwilde and buy them there for half the price. Additionally, Idylwilde stocks a good supply of containers and ribbons to make your own arrangements, or purchase an already-made one. Can't go wrong here!
