Review content:
This book store caught my eye after more than a decade of living in the beach cities. I was cruising down PCH on my way to school at Loyola Marymount University where I was a English major with less than 2 dimes to rub together. I decided to check it out on my way back from classes.
What a wonderful surprise! Dave had nearly all the books I needed for that semester! The collection of classics is second to none. Why anyone would spend the money at a university bookstore for 2nd hand books that are marked up and highlighted with flourescent yellow at twice the price is beyond me. I shopped here for all my books until I graduated. I had a little more than 2 dimes to rub together when I graduated because of this excellent book store.
Besides the classics, there are books on every subject imaginable and a great selection to boot. Also, the big plus was being able to trade in the books I was done with. Usually I ended up keeping them because they were in such great condition.
Starving students, especially English majors, need to head over here. And enjoy your books while eating something better than Top Ramen with the money you save!
Pros: The store owner is the nicest book store owner you
