If you appreciate fresh seafood, you'll appreciate Malibu Seafood, if you want a fancy 5 star chef/restaurant go down the street. They are 1st a fish market, they sell fresh fish straight from the docks - order the fresh fish. That's why they're there. They started cooking the stuff they sell, then they give you a picnic table to eat it at. When the crab is in, buy it. It's grand. Their rice pilaf makes a great addition to the crab, the lobster. Just like the fancy restaurants, you can pick the lobster you want. I think people expect a 5 star chef because it's in malibu. Not here. It's a fish market. Understand that, you'll understand the appeal. It's good, fresh fish. It's that simple. That's why there's a line. Pros: Fresh seafood, a nice day in Malibu Cons: parking, uncomfortable picnic tables, get it yourself service
