While my time at HCC was a stepping stone to where I am now, I deeply regret not attending another college. I will always remember my frustration and disgust regarding its student population, student services and care, under staffed and lazy financial aid department, and the staff's total disregard for each individual student. The limited parking made me a competitive vehicular stunt driver, and guaranteed me late and angry on many days of class. These accusations are just a dent when speaking of HCC's procedures. Now at a university, it is clear that HCC forgot who paid the bills. The treatment and care, as well as education, that I receive now is not comparable to that of HCC. I did not know my options while attending HCC, and now wish that I would have gone somewhere else. The tuition was cheap indeed, but I would have paid more to enhance my college experience.
