I'd been living in Sherman Oaks and "commuting" to my old hairdresser in Beverly Hills for years, when Jazyhair opened just two blocks away from my home. I reserved judgment and thought I'd give it a try since it was so convenient. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the quality of service as well as those ineffable matters of "taste" were up to the same standard as my distant (and overpriced) Beverly Hills salon. I get highlights and toner (an unusual pearl shade that has to be custom-mixed), as well as cuts and ironing at Jazyhair now. Jasmine is a breath of fresh air--one of those entirely competent, entirely positive, and fully engaged people we all hope to meet with in our daily business transactions (but seldom do). The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, and you can surf the net or partake of Jasmine's wise and cheerful counsel on your personal life, while your hair gets done to polished perfection. I always look and feel like a new and better person when I leave!
