I went to JazyHair for the first time yesterday and I am thrilled with the results. I e-mailed the salon asking for someone who specializes in relaxing African American hair and was promptly referred to Amber. I have been searching for a great stylist for a little over a year now with no luck. If I find someone who can do a good job relaxing it, they dont know how to cut or style it. If I find someone who knows how to cut and style, they dont do relaxers on "my kind" of hair. Well, Amber did a great job with everything. She was also super professional-- she showed up on time, took her time consulting with me to ascertain just what it was I wanted, and gave me her undivided attention. All of these things are as important to me as a stylist's competence. I need someone who is professional and values my time and my business. Amber
has a great "bedside manner" and understands just how important a woman's hair is to her. I walked out with silky hair with a lot of body and bounce (as opposed to the overprocessed or weighed-down-with-product hair I usually get) which was cut EXACTLY the way I wanted (an angled bob that is not too short, I have gotten nothing but compliments). Amber is a gem and I would highly recommend her. She is also reasonably priced as well. Believe me, I have paid alot more for alot less.
The other stylists were also very professional, responsive and unpretentious. The salon seems very well managed. I am so happy my seach for a stylist is over.
