Review content:
The items they sell are great. I've been going there for years. This Sunday, however, I encountered something I never experienced before. I entered just after 6pm, knowing they closed at 7pm. I selected garments in several areas of the store, but was surprised at 6:30 to hear the announcement that the dressing rooms were closed. Surely this was a mistake?
Nope. They not only were adamant about their being closed, they made no exceptions about opening them. They let me walk away from a large purchase because they have this insane attitude that the customer isn't right and that they'd rather put everything from my cart back on the racks instead of letting me try them on and buy them.
They need retraining. They mark clothes fine, but they have no concept of how customer service should work. Or seem to understand that if they let people into the store at an hour before closing that those people should have full access not only to merchandise but to the fitting rooms. It makes sense. And if they want to close them a FEW minutes early (10 would be more reasonable) then make lots of announcements about it. How difficult is that?
And while they're at it, this is an old Winn Dixie grocery store. I am certain it had public restrooms when it was a grocery. They need to make them available to customers. Otherwise, you can only shop as long as your bladder holds out.
