I went to Burke in the late 1980's and he was simply the best DR. He me, my Mother and friends so much. The kind of Doc that phoned you back asap, gave me YEARS worth of samples cause he knew I needed them. Called me personally when I was in the hospital out of the WC area. Helped me when there was a billing issue. Saw me for free after he moved his practice !
Then he had personal problems, a bad car accident etc. and all seemed to go down hill. He specialized in Lyme and was one of the best in the country. But then he started diagnosing everything as Lyme and missed serious other health issues. We left his practice.
Dr Burke died this last spring. I still thought highly of him but felt so sorry for him because it was blatantly obvious he had serious problems. I still miss him. What a loss.
