I have been shopping goodwill...resale stores for years and have Never seen such high prices for Very worn items! I finally found a coat with a sticker placed on the collar for $10! This was the only item I found worth buying. When I went to counter she said it was $28, then said something about half off I think...I showed her the sticker and she took it off and said that some kid must of done that...(weird). Then proceded to lecture me on London Fog sales for $28 and that they do not put stickers on any items...( I did see stickers on clothes). Anyway, she was changing her price at the register Without regard to already being priced. Well I went back in 10 mins later to see if I could go ahead and buy for $14 (half off) I think there was a half off sale, And she said No it is now $30!!!!!! That she called two goodwill stores and they price their LONDON FOG for $49!! She had tme to call in 10 mins time AS she was checking out other customers!! AND she had the nerve to LIE to me again and say that not only is it Now $30, but she put it in the back because SOMEONE else wanted it! This all happened in 10mins!! She clearly wanted it for herself. My husband lost his job and we can barley pay our bills and all I wanted to do was buy a coat for the winter...$10 was too high for this coat....If this store is there to help the community in hard times ....I don't think so! I will be reporting to BBB and to make sure that ALL money is accounted for if it is a Non-Profit agency. They are NOT helping the community in need by this behavior....I cannot stand to be lied to face to face by someone like this. STILL amazed she thought she could get buy with this...says she is the MANAGER!! The Director of this store needs to know who is running this place...I hope this helps!
