Vintage Wood Sash and Storm is located in Ballard at 6755 8th Avenue NW. They specialize in storm windows, an alternative to replacing old windows with double pained glass. They also have the capacity to replace existing single pained windows, with new wood and glass. He treats al of the exterior exposed wood with a special oil that helps to prevent dry rot or other problems from being exposed to the elements. It seems to work very well, as I have a window he made that hasn't been painted and is still trouble free. If you're working on an older house and need to keep it historically correct, then get your windows here.
