I recently purchased a bike in Carrollton and was immediately drawn to the charm of the Old Downtown area. You truly feel like you've landed in another world...but what truly makes it special is this new tea room called Tea Thyme & Tisane. The minute you walk in, it's like all the stress of the world melts away. There is truly something for everyone: afternoon tea for those seeking a more traditional tea salon feel, a Japanese tea room for those seeking a more oriental experience, a play area for children which includes everything from puzzles to an upright piano and a tea shop for those desiring to take the experience home with them. Their lunch menu is great (I highly recommend ordering a sampler) and dessert is definitely worth saving room for! The owner is very friendly and more than happy to help you choose a tea that fits your needs and personality. I HIGHLY recommend venturing over to this enchanting place. It's very reasonably priced and worth the drive! :)
