Review content:
I have mixed emotions about Rudy’s Rental & Hardware, which offers a local business alternative to those large warehouse stores, like Home Depot. In addition to equipment rental (including large lawn care equipment and such), there is a hardware store located inside. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. However, I had an experience years ago where someone who stole my driver’s license was permitted to rent over $4,000 in large equipment from this store. The manager somehow got my unlisted phone number, called me, and proceeded to read me the riot act. After insisting that he provide me with further information and details, he finally fessed up that the person that presented my D.L. did not look anything like the picture!
