We had reservations for a party of 11 adults & 2 children. The steaks were half gristle and the veal was tough. When we complained about the steaks the waitress said nothing, just looked at us and then walked away. There was only one vegtable to choose from and we each only got two teaspoons of it.There was only mashed potatoes. They didn't even offer baked. We left left over a 20% tip just because my husband wanted out of there. We were never even asked if we wanted our coffee refreshed when we had desert which was also limited. They only had two servings of a brownie ice cream thing. The waitress never even smiled let alone say thank you. She obviously didn't want to be there. Serving that food, I can understand. We had a family of 5 (kids included), a family of 4, and two couples. When I asked upon arriving if we could get 4 checks the waitress said she didn't have 4 checks. We we left there was a pile of checks by the desk 4" thick, so what was that all about. Something very strange is going on there. The appetizer of sliced tomatoes and cheese was pale winter tomatoes. Isn't this Jersey in the middle of the summer? I couldn't even eat tomatoes like that. I would have sent it back but I wasn't the one who ordered it. The only thing that was good in that place was the drink I ordered, and that was it. This reservation had been booked for a month. Go buy some tomatoes! Get some vegtables and buy some potatoes to bake! Hire someone who wants to wait on people. I have seen friendlier people at a funeral parlor! If they couldn't handle the reservation we wished they would have called us and we would have gone somewhere else. I drove down 3 hours from Hbg. PA and some of the people drove up from FL, and 2 drove in from WY. We were all looking forward to a wonderful meal and it was just horrible. Some of the dinner rolls were even still frozen in the middle. I can't express to you had bad this was. My mother-in-law who made the reservation for my father-in-laws 90th birthday was so embarressed by it. The Isley's
