Review content:
Not a good experience at all. After TTC for 4 years we turned to Dr.McConnell at Nevada Fertility Cares. I always felt rushed in her office and the wait time was always 45 minutes or greater. After a failed IUI attempt the nurse called me to tell I was not pregnant and before I could even grasp the fact that we failed she was asking if we wanted to try another round and schedule another appointment. Would have been nice to hear personally from the doctor and had a more sympathectic voice on the other end. After moving to another clinic I learned the IUI I had just paid $2800.00 to Nevada Fertility Cares was covered under my insurance. The office staff at Dr.McConnell's did not run my insurance properly and we were told it was not a covered benefit when it was time to pay for the service. If they would have done their job we could have saved over $1500.00. So when I called to see if they could correct the problem alls I got were voicemails and no call backs. After several attempts I did speak with someone however they would not make the situation right and pretty much told me sorry, nothing we can do. I was even willing to split the cost with them hoping for at least half my money back and offered to pay what the insurance company would have paid them but still nothing. I moved clinics and my experience was completely different and I can happily say the result was POSITIVE and I'm 12 weeks pregnant.
Cons: Follow-through, staff, wait time
