Last year, I accidentally dropped a small bottle of Vick's in the toilet which lodged stubbornly in the toilet's pipes and would not budge. Quickly realizing that all the wishing and plunging in the world would not fix the toilet, my husband and I called Roto-Rooter. A plumber came out promptly, within the hour, and it was even a Sunday. He was jovial and even made enough jokes with us to lighten the mood of a situation in which an inevitable mess and a notable expense was going to hit us. He tried his hardest to remove the bottle, and kept us in the loop as he continued his work, giving us options from one try to another, and informing us of the costs associated with each of his actions. Eventually, he had to search for a new toilet for us, on a Sunday, and visited a number of stores before finding something that would not break our bank. He installed the new toilet and cleaned up, putting in a great number of hours without losing his sense of humor. Although our bill was quite high, we at least had a great afternoon with our plumber.
