I initially thought the reserved seating ticketing was kind of pointless, but I guess it makes the whole movie-going experience a bit more formal. Also, it's nice to know that you don't have to show up at the theater extra early to find good seats or even to get tickets for that matter. The area around the theater also has some good restaurants and Amoeba music store so you have something to do either before/after movie-viewing. Though the tickets are a bit pricey, Arclight offers a unique experience for the average movie-goer.
