What other cinema in America has assigned seating? Arclight is pricey ($14 regular, $11 matinee) and doesn't sell pretzels, but the projection quality was superb, the seats spacious and comfortable (and assigned!), and the movie was introduced by the dedicated user-for-your-film-today. This is the Alaska Airlines of LA cinemas, making the rest feel like Southwest. Which isn't a knock on Southwest! Make a choice: do you want the cheaper cattle-call, or do you want to be asked 'would you like front, middle, or back? Center middle OK? Here are your seats.' Oh, and, two minor celebrity sightings (including Michael McDonald of MadTV) at a Saturday matinee. Yes, I'll be back. Pros: Excellent projection, Spacious seats, Boutique atmosphere Cons: 'Upscale' pricing, No pretzels
