I have personally been to both Le Bec Fin and Fountain and I would have to say Fountain is the better of the two. Le Bec Fin is way too stuffy and being a young person (26) I particularly did not appreciate the weird looks from the other patrons. As for Fountain, the food is filling, however you do not feel stuffed at the end. Best rabbit, corn soup, and squab I have ever tasted. Service is attentive and unobtrusive and the room was so big it felt like we were the only people dining there.
