traveled from northampton to quakertown for sick parrot after area vets were closed & valley central had no avian vet on duty. we were seen by dr clarke who gave us three options 1. admit the bird with cash due up front of 600.00 2.take the bird home & monitor her condition. 3.let her keep the bird and she would pay its medical bill but we would still have to pay 300.00. we left and drove 97 miles to red bank animal hospital in n.j. they gave our parrot iv fluids , put her on an an antibiotic and we have follwed up with allentown animal clinic for the past few weeks. she is doing very well would not take an animal to quakertown EVER EVER again would have given minus 1 star rating if it was an option
