Businiess name:  Pets On Lex

Review content:
This weekend I walked by Pets on Lex (Lexington, between and 87th and 88th). I went in to get some cat food and was totally APPALLED by what I saw. A man ( the owner I believe) was handling the puppies violently and abusively. There were cats in plexiglass boxes way too small for them to move. Most of the felines were nearly full grown - I'm beside myself thinking that they may be in those tiny boxes for up to a year or more. One of the cats was rolling in its litterbox, probably out of boredom and stress. Something should be done about this place. How can such a store operate in NYC? Cons: just awful abusive handling and housing of animals.
