Purchasing a bra has never been an especially pleasant shopping experience for me. At 5"1', 110 llbs and what I thought was a DDD cup -- its a challenge to find something that fits well, flatters my fame, and does not look like a relic from my grandmother's closet. My recent experience at La Petite Coquette, and in particular the assistance offered by Alexandra, really put all my past experiences to shame. Alexandra was patient, understanding, pointed out why the 32 DDD I had been wearing was not offering the proper shape, and when we looked at bras in the size she suggested, 30 FF, the selection was better than I expected and -- transformed my silouette!! The shop is lovely, relaxed, and these folks really know their stuff. I also can't say enough about Alexandra, her lovely disposition and her knowlege of what fits and why. Thanks La Petite Coquette!
Pros: excellent selection in larger sizes, lovely peaceful atmosphere, expert fitters who are lively and understanding
Cons: their items might be a bit more expensive them so other corsetries, but the service alone is worth it -- and they are happy to point out items that are one sale or offer a better value
