Review content:
I received a handwritten coupon from Jocelyn for a discount off of a service. I was thrilled and planned on trying out the salon, since I had become disappointed with my regular Aveda salon. Only when I called did I notice that the coupon had already expired (I have a busy life as a graduate student and can't simply put my world on hold to go the salon). When I called the receptionist to ask if she could extend it, she sneered, and said "Only sometimes do we extend gift certificates--once a customer has paid." It sounds to me that they "eat" your cash. After encountering such rudeness, I am glad I didn't let them touch my hair!
One goes to a salon to relax--not to get hassled!
Pros: They're trying to drum up business--apparently no one wants to go
Cons: Incredibly stressful encounter with the secretary
