Review content:
After seeing the model apartment, I was expecting a lot more than what I got. The carpet was in bad condition (stained, worn) and the windows had plastic chipping on the inside (from the faux panes). There were even cigarette butts in my NONSMOKING apartment the first day I moved in. A pipe burst in our bathroom and they were pretty good about getting a plumber to come in the next day, but we had wet carpet for almost a week, even with the fan blowing on it. The hallway always smelled like cat urine/feces because of our neighbors. Having a garage and 1.5 bathrooms (for 2 br) were the only nice features in my opinion. They need to do some updating, including to the tacky-looking balconies. My last gripe is that they require you to pay a cleaning fee before you move in and I could tell it had not been cleaned!! I had no major problems with the office staff and never met the manager. I lived here two years ago and decided I would rather live downtown and have cheaper rent! I think the same company operates Brookmeadow and Wimbledon and I liked my friend's Wim. apartment better! I also had major issues with Comcast while living here, but that's a whole other story...
