I have been to Sam's twice. Each time the car took longer and required a revisit.
The knock sensor took over week, then the mechanic did not tighten a radiator hose properly which resulted in a slow leak and I had to go back.
Fast forward 18 months this repair similar story, but this time a vacuum cable was not properly routed and I have an occasional misfire at idle. They looked at the car, but since it does not throw an error code, it's not a problem. So I had to spend a couple of hours retracing ALL the vacuum hoses to fix.
S&J is competent, but does not pay enough attention to detail.
