It seems like the programs for the littles one is good. We have had problems with lack of skilled teachers in the 5-7 year old summer class. The class has 2 bullies who are allowed to closed-fist hit other kids, push, and verbally abuse to the point of crying. We have discussed with the teachers, and 3 admit to a huge problem with the bullies, but it will not be handled except to "talk" to the bully each time. In addition, $70 per week is designated for 2 field trips, and these are a joke. 1 trip last week to Zonkers and each child was given 4 tokens (.25 cents each). Multiply the profit by 30 kids...wow! Thought they were going to the Russell Stover factory, took them to a store and got each a free sample of chocolate and a free sample of ice cream...but the store owner was thrilled when they walked in. It really does seem to be all about money for the jr and sr groups. We are very disappointed in most of their policies. Our son has been in Early Education centers since he was 1. This is most certainly just a day care, no learning activities or much structure. Watching on video, you can see the teachers just ignoring issues. Other websites say it is because of the low pay here, I had not realized it was a chain. We are making alternate plans starting next week. I would pass on this school/day care. Not worth the money or the bad manners/taunting/hurt feelings it causes.
